We never get any decent Vampire movies, and this along with 30 days of night, Fright night, and Bram Stoker's Dracula are some of my personal favorite of the gener. I genuinely had a fun time watching this film and it had some pretty funny moments too! I recommend this film highly! Hope Terrifier 3 takes a more grounded approach to the production like the first one. I personally didn't like the Nightmare on elm Street esc magic Art uses or his delusional friend. There were some excellent kills of course but the dream stuff was a bit of a leap. Great movies though, I really hope that Beetlejuice Beetlejuice doesn't have poor acting. Judging the casting which is you there with borderlands for most awful. And the over reuse of returning actors gets exhausting. Not saying Mia goth's 3 films: Pearl, X, and Maxxxine. But the actress from babysitter and ready or not is not an entertaining actress. The Rock appeared in too many films and now all these women in horror movies keep also appearing everywhere. This went from an Abigail interview to a cynicle point of view about modern film making and reappearing actresses/ actors. But that's honesty from a man who's watched many movies from different decades. I have taste in old and new art and I think Abigail is a fun take on vampires.
