Feels like a 3DS game tacked onto the switch at the last minute. Despite what some people may claim pacing is slow with certain NPCs stopping you every five steps despite my team being easily overleveled. Dynamax was not that interesting of a mechanic compared to Mega Evolutions and I could typically oneshot the enemy dynamaxed or not. Not a fan of most of the Pokemon being cut from the game. Some of the animations are really good such as the starters signature moves but other than that its your typical limited 3DS looking animations. Somehow the game is capable of bricking Roku TVs and SD cards. This game is mediocre at best. It had some good moments such as the first battle with your rival. If you really do wish to get the game pick it up on sale and use a spare SD card.
