Season 1 of the Acolyte was a lot of fun. New explorations of Force powers and users, a charismatic and compelling villain, and some tragically misguided heroes. They absolutely delivered on the effort to provide some of the best lightsaber action since the prequels, and left great potential for more on screen development of the High Republic setting, with new twists on the cultures and aesthetic we've known in Star Wars. And of course, it'd be an abysmal waste not to build on the introduction of the pivotal Plagueis, particularly with an original cast of characters for him to manipulate and experiment on.
