To understand the problem with both of these movies you have to really understand who Maleficent was this woman was the ultimate Queen of Petty not the do gutter on a mission to save the princess's wedding. The idea of taking one of Disney's best villains if not the absolute best villain in the disney franchise and turn her into some pathetic following minion of the princess is embarrassing.

It was cute for what it was I mean let's be honest they can only do so much without peeta bringing hell fire on them so I like the way they handled this. Choosing not to use real animals was a smart idea. I understand the easily offended hated the crows in the original Dumbo but things were different on The Times that it was made and they were funny. It bothers me that they didn't emphasize the mouse he was such a crucial part of Dumbo. But at the end of the day we should count our blessings that Tim Burton didn't completely destroy this the way he destroyed the chocolate factory

This may very well be the best live action Disney has done yet. You weren't over bombarded with agendas definitely a strong female heroine presence but not overbearing. Will Smith did good Robin is irreplaceable we know that but he did pretty good. I didn't feel cringe I during this movie and I like that for the most part they stuck with the good songs.

I think they took crucial points of the movie and completely neglected them, I think they went out of their way to push agendas in this movie that they really didn't need to. I think Walt Disney would have turned over in his grave seeing this movie and it would have broke his heart. This is by far the worst live action remake I have ever seen.

I feel like they kind of ruined the story. It was visually stunning and well acted I suppose but the story itself was missing a lot I found it really lacking in detail. They did to this story what they did to Maleficent They took a story and completely twisted it and perverted it in a way. In the interest of Hollywood political agenda correctness they took a sweet story and just ruined it and that's very unfortunate and they packed it full of agendas which was just distracting.
