I think Zack did a great job for what he had to work with. In 4 hours he built more back story then DC was ever able to do. At least now there is context and base to some of the things that have happened. And it gives DC an opportunity to build this story out way better or just through another almost good CG film out that lets fans down. He gave it the depth and emotional connection all the films were lacking. Yes there still needs to be some better character back ground building, but in all a really great save to say the least. One bummer, I miss the little quips and humor from the Aquaman character. And Henry, you will be deeply missed for sure. You are Superman dude, I know they need some better written lines for you, because I know you can handle the potential depth of Clark, you can not be replaced.
