I was disappointed in today’s story about SailGP. My nephew is on the team with Jimmy Spithill and I was hoping you’d focus on the mission of the SailGP program…vs. the technology of the boat. In every location where they sail, they provide opportunities to local youth of all backgrounds to learn to sail and the team conducts some kind of community service. The goal is to open the doors to sailing to youth who may not otherwise have the means or opportunity to do so. There is a much more important social/ humanitarian story here than the one about the technology of the boat, esp since the SailGP regattas are conducted in ports all over the world.
