I watched the movie 'Kurukkan' with high hopes. Thinking that it would be a fun entertaining movie, I spent 7.99 dollars on a seat in theaters only to find out that it was a cheap comedy with a few forced laugh in the theater. I love Vineeth but in this movie, the acting was HORRIBLE. I could not stand the cringe comedy in this movie. The only thing that made me laugh was the stupidity of Vineeth's character. Basically, Kurukkan is a cheap comedy to not waste your money on.

I just watched the movie 'Aavesham' in the theaters. By the way, SPOILER ALERT! And I can say this movie was a crazy ride! They were not kidding when they said that they were re-introducing Fahadh Faasil. I just loved the action set pieces, the BGM, the acting, and most of all- the cinematography. It can be summed up as an action, gangster, comedy. I know it is long but it is awesome. But it is not in that same level as Jithu Madhavan's previous film, Romancham. Aavesham is, however, some times unrealistic. But mainly, it is a revenge story of Juniors vs Seniors. By the way, that scene when Fahadh Faasil made reels, just made the entire theater laugh. Anyways, Aavesham is a fun, energetic comedy to watch with all your friends and family.
