Many reviewed have said this movie is about sport and women empowerment. It is neither! Just another Vijay movie. Movie is a hit no doubt! Lot of people like it. But am on the side of a smaller crowd which didn't like the movie. I will list 2 reasons. In one scene where Vijay and Nayantara tries to convince the husband of an ex player, talk about women individuality. Well and good! Buy in the final game, every player in team wears jersey with name Vigil at the back. To hell with their individuality! In another scene, Vijay who hasn't played football in years plays a bet with 11 state players and scores 3 goals with no trouble, making state level players look like dummies. So much for women empowerment!
