This is one of the buggiest, most broken Battlefield games I've ever played. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME UNTIL IT GETS MULTIPLE PATCHES AND GETS FULLY FIXED!!! Missing Features: - No scoreboard - Can't customize HUD - No server browser - No VOIP - No single-player campaign - When a match is over, it kicks you out to the menu, meaning you have to matchmake EACH ROUND - No diving while swimming - No spectator mode - Very few maps (7 in base game, Portal has 6 more, making for a total of 13 maps) - Far less game modes - Only about 30 percent of the buildings are actually destructible. - Very few weapons (Only 22 in total, of which 5 to 6 are actually good) - Fewer factions than in the previous games - No "Medic Nearby" indicator when downed (it doesn't sound important, but it is). - Far less infantry gadgets Huge Problems With Game: - Maps are too big, which leads to walking and walking for two minutes only to get killed by an enemy and do it again. Bigger does not always equal better, and that is clearly shown here - SO MANY BUGS. Some of them include janky animations, hard crashes that brick your computer, not being able to skip revive when downed, getting stuck in menus, not being able to join games, etc - A.I is really dumb, often standing in place waiting to get shot. They are smarter than in the previous games, but they're still really dumb. - Playing with your friends is a mess and sometimes takes forever. Either you don't get in the same game, you're on different teams, or you straight up can't join a match. - Some snipers and scopes can one shot players no matter if you hit them in the head, chest or pinky toe. It basically turns this game into sniper heaven. - Awful hit registration and bullet spread. The weapon bloom just makes it even worse. - Vehicles are imbalanced and too powerful. Most matches just have vehicles camping and they have way too much health to try and fight back. - Hazard Zone is...okay? But there are far better extraction type games out there. All you do is extract, spend currency on new weapons, and drop back in. That's it. It gets old real fast. - Portal is the only good part, since the tools DICE/EA gave are insane and super easy to use. But there are very few maps per game, and it's much better to just buy Battlefield 3 or Bad Company 2 instead of playing them in THIS game. It's more of a nostalgia trip. - Horrible recoil that makes aiming on some guns straight up impossible. - HORRIBLE PERFORMANCE ON PC! No matter how powerful the PC is or how low the settings are in-game, FPS is quite low and can't even reach 100 (don't know how it's like on consoles). Some call it Battlefield 20-42 FPS, and they're not exactly wrong. Whether you're a long time fan or casual player, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! It is too buggy in its current state and has simply removed everything that was good about the old Battlefields. Is it garbage? No. But it's not worth $60, yet alone $90 or $110. If you want a good Battlefield, play Battlefield 4 or Battlefield 1. If you want a good extraction game, play Hunt: Showdown or Escape From Tarkov. Those games are cheaper and far more fun. Massive disappointment.
