I thought it was great. I liked Tim Burtons take on growing up as Wednesday. I’ve read through the comments to see how everyone liked or disliked the show. I’m amazed at those who disliked this or that about the show yet in the next sentence I see things written about weight, looks, and race. Just sad. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. And I feel we should have an opinion that matters but when the opinion goes down the road of body shaming or writing how ugly someone is then the opinion looses power. Ortega as Wednesday was awesome. The fact that it took time for kids to warm up to her was perfect. Loved Catherine ZJ and Guzman. Took me a while to warm up to them at first but got that Burton made Gomez know just how lucky he was to have Morticia as his wife. They are an unlikely pair. That’s what makes it work. Loved Fester. It’s ironic but it even seems to have Christina Rici blessing as her character was trying to kill off Wednesday. It was awesome. Hoping there is a second season.
