American Horror Story has been around for 9 seasons and seven of those were outstanding, well thought of, and original in their own ways. After American Horror Story Roanoke however I began to see a downward slope heater that was financially or actually had to do with the writing but the three most recent seasons fell short of what they could be especially season 9 1984. Upon hearing that this past season was set at a summer camp in the 80's made me very excited as I got into the horror genre thanks to movies such as Friday the 13th. After the first episode however I was truly scared but it was because I didn't want this season to be ruined, there were several times in this season where I felt the show could have left some useless scenes out for maybe the actual festival. Again I don't really know where they went wrong but the actors were definitely a breadth of fresh air, although I did miss the majority of the cast I was able to really enjoy acting from new and returning actors/actresses. If you have any subtle inclination for horror then watch this series is an absolute must watch and Although I believe that 1984 was missing something it still had a very enjoyable watch! Also Zach Villa as Richard Ramirez was gold would love to see him make a return.
