I’m a big John Grisham fan. Listening to the audiobook almost right after listening to the audiobook of the Whistler. So far having trouble with Mary Louise, Parker‘s vocals. Having trouble distinguishing which character she’s reading. In the Whistler Cassandra Campbell was excellent. So maybe I just need to adjust my ears as I listen further. By the way, the Whistler was awesome. Cannot wait to get to the end of this one.

This book is incredible!! It probably means a little more to me since I was raised and grew up in Pacifica four years behind Mr. Hernandez. I had the same pony league coach 4 years later. It’s nice to hear Mr. Hernandez include some of those nice memories of Pacifica back in the 60s But I think anyone would enjoy this book, it gives good insight to what a person has to go through to get to the big leagues. Is incredibly well written, it seems Keith, other than being a first baseman that should be in the Hall of Fame, is also a well spoken author.
