Watched it this afternoon rather than pay £16 on Amazon for a one-time only watch when it first came out in December, and instead waited for the DVD that cost a tenner and is mine and can now watch anytime I want. Besides the point.
I adore Gal Gadot - think she's amazing. When she was first cast as Wonder Woman, a lot of people thought and indeed said it was a really bad idea to put someone who at the time was relatively unknown into such iconic role but OMG how Gal proved them wrong by taking this role and making it her own - anyone for another slice of humble pie?
The first Wonder Woman movie was brilliant. And this one isn't far behind. The opening is great, with a young Diana learning the hard way that cheats never prosper.
And that's sort of the message all through this movie - along with.......be careful what you wish for.
The action scenes throughout are very well done, Gal in WW-mode is awesome as always, and the final fight scene between her and Cheetah is really good although a bit short.
Overall this is a really great film and really worth watching.
