This was the most inspirational album I have ever listened to, and still is my all time favor rock star album. The two records contain songs that cover the full spectrum of songs that cover human emotions in a way that is almost like magic. Each song tells a story that takes the listener on a journey through time and space and from being sad and lonely to being happy and radiating to sing it out and feel good again in songs like Song Sung Blues. The ballad about an old man’s gift that he left his children carving a hand made table for them to remember him by after he was gone, but none of his children came to claim this gift he had for them. All of the songs on this album are masterpieces of a mass tear craftsman of song writing and the best story telling put to music wit Neil Diamonds one of a kind voice as a singer that is so good that in fifty plus years I can still listen to the entire album and ever tire of it and feel good from the effects of its spiritual message that uplifts the soul to a better place in time. It magic. I recommend this album to young and old alike.
