Great show, have been watching it for years. Very informative and educational about the rural parts of the country. I left the UK nearly 60 years ago, did not have a car in those days so could not really explore the countryside.
From an Australian perspective there are some noticeable cultural differences. A BLOKES GOTTA HAVE A SHED to put the car and other stuff in. Most of the time the sheds or garages if there are any just get a passing mention and they are usually full of junk with no room for a car. An Australian bloke would go straight to the shed to make sure there was room for his and his wife's cars, then they would look at the house.
Built in wardrobes also seem to be rare even when there are obvious alcoves where they could be fitted.
I have a cousin in the UK who lives in a 400 year old cottage which all her friends rave on about but she is a secret admirer of some of the modern homes.
