Amazing acting done for Inspector Hathiram Choudhary, Sanjeev Mehra and many other characters. First of its kind where struggling life of a police officer is candidly shown. The violence seems almost natural. All hoped for a goody ending, it happened.

There is no question about the amazing performance by allmost all characters, specially by charactersof Mirza, Bankey, Begum Sahiba, servant of Mirza, Guddo. This is one of the best examples of subtle humour, which was seen in movies of Utpal Dutt, Sanjeev Kumar. Beautifully enacted and situational humour , by almost all characters at all places. The movie may not be Cup of tea for most who are not connoisseur of 'off beat cinema'. The movie is mostly slow paced and at few place seems boring. The make up done for Mirza is truly astounding. I found the background music similar to Malgudi days type, where Desi instruments are used for humour, emotions, which is really nice. The songs are nice , but again out of regular road. Lastly, it is indeed a work of extreme details. Almost entire movie seems to be shot in real life situations It doesn't seem like work of fiction. Climax is interesting but something was missing in it.
