It's been since "2001, A Space Odyssey" that I've seen a sci-fi film that I could not look away from. Captivating not powerful enough word. My wife had to pee as soon as the movie started but didn't get up to go until the end because "she couldn't take her eyes off of it". Made me feel great about big films again, watched it on IMAX, and look forward to cranking it on my home theatre. The setup for a third film is solid, and we'll be waiting for it.

One of the best books and series of books I have ever read. Should be required reading, even at the high school level. As a history book, it doesn't necessarily tell you what happened, but why it happened as a result of human nature.
