I played the original Baldur's Gate back in 1998 when it was first released and I remember all the anticipation and excitement I felt at that time. I was enthralled with the storyline, gameplay and hardly noticed the multiple disc swapping and loading screens. It soon became one of my all time favourrite games and I still have the original discs! Needless to say I was agonizingly waiting for the release of BG3!!! Baldur's Gate 3 is more than a worthy successor to the original, well worth the wait and no multiple discs!! I have already spent many hours exploring and leveling up my party and plan to spend countless more. I love the characters and storyline and the multiple ways to interact with the environment. Great job Larian. True I have encontered a few bugs but far far less than i expected for an Early Access game. I TOTALLY recommend BG3 both for fans of the original and for any fan of the RPG genre. They knocked this one out of the park!!!
