If you aren’t a fan of the originals then you probably won’t like it bc it does lean heavily on nostalgia. There are tons of callbacks to great scenes and characters from the first movie. The plot was a typical cheesy 80s action film where you best if you just don’t think to hard and enjoy the ride. More than anything it was just fun to see Eddie Murphy doing his thing again.
