True journalism. Reminiscent of Walter Cronkite style reporting of issues free of personal favoritisms. Very few journalists today can report in a non-columnists style. Private opinions of a given journalist are not newsworthy and more often than not are a form of proselytism with monetary compensation from the benefitted party. There seems to be a pandemic of sycophancy amongst ordinary news media characters.

Sadly CNN has become a partisan platform of proselytism for the democratic party. I don’t think this what Ted Turner envisioned as its mission. News should be reported with political neutrality. The individual reporter personal affiliations should not be the direction or modulator of the report. Moreover a reporter with such flaw was banned from reporting when news were ethically sanctioned.
