I hate most movies. Mostly, they are an utter waste of time. Most movies are so bad you are not just better off reading, you are better off staring at a spot on the wall. That said, I just watched this one for the second time last night, and will most likely watch it again in the future. This one is more horror than sci-fi. I guess it gets labeled as sci-fi but it is really more speculative than sci-fi. Either way, it is primarily a horror movie. It is the best kind of horror movie - one that does not rely on jump-scares, gratuitous gore, and objectification. This horror gem has none of those. Sure, others might say actually there are lotsa jump-scares in this film. Well, OK, but these jump-scares will leave you wondering "what in the name of Mike just happened???" You'll be wondering this for days, if not longer.
