enjoyed learning about Missouri's divisions in the Civil War - glad author enlightened us about this disorder and why we don't talk about it because It's covered up with long sleeves and slacks - we can now look for it - heard about the elephant festival on another Tennessee border - didn't feel the south was being mocked - this could happen anywhere - loved that players were not all southern or even all American - french touch makes it

Michelle Pfeiffer so takes her character full circle and Jonathon Jackson's soap opera experience ironically helps give the movie gravitas, as his character is definitely the elephant in the room and the actor unapologetically runs with that - I've enjoyed it several times, even all these years later

kinda like Sleepless in Seattle - two souls trying to connect - loved Christopher Plummer in it too - i really liked it
