When playing overwatch 1 there was an incentive to play, with the gold coins you get and the loot boxes, you basically didn’t have to pay for anything because you were able to earn your skins and feel good about it. but now with overwatch 2 they first have you add your phone number which isn’t needed AT ALL and is probably used for third party users. they took ALL of your golden coins away and made them silver so now you can’t get any of the skins you wanted unless they’re the common skins or if they’re in the new “item shop” which is useless because you can buy skins outside of the item shop. not only that but they’ve changed the characters voices, DVA to be exact, and her voice is unbearable i cannot play the game anymore. second they have a battle pass which is a mistake considering black ops is not doing well so why would you copy the worse franchise ? and finally you can’t earn gold coins you have to buy them, and even if you could earn gold coins i’m sure you can only do so by... guess what? buying the battle pass ! so no matter what overwatch isn’t in it for the fans but just in it for the money
