Given the background of the authors, I expected a novel grounded in some sense of reality. This was more like a 10 year olds view of combat, who’s only point of reference has been COD. Actually that’s unfair, COD is more realistic….
It’s somewhat alarming that a Brig General has put his name on this, kinda feels like it was ghost written and he just collected the cash and didn’t read it.
One bonus is that it’s so simplistic you can bang through it in a couple of hours.
