Good film. Underrated. Definitely doesn't get the credit it deserves. I love the old star wars movies just as much as anyone else but they were produced during a different time. So you cant expect the same exactly feeling in these modern movies. Fans need to get over that. It's not the 80s anymore. Though those films were not considered campy then any attempt in present day to capture the same feeling would.. And would come off as miserable as episodes I.. 2 and 3...and I even like those films also because I love star wars but the Disney Era films whole not as good as the original are superior to episodes 1-3 honestly. And the stand alone rogue one and now solo are two of the bests. If you enjoy the present and take the films as they are instead of comparing it to the originals you might be able to enjoy them and stop being so bitter about it all. Just sucks to see star wars fans not enjoying films like solo because they just constantly compare them to the original films and cast. The kid playing solo did a great job.. And no he is not supposed to be exactly like Harrison Ford.. He is much younger han and I thought he did really well with the cadence and such. Donald glover as Lando was a bit lacking in the feel of the old character but he did okay. He is normally a great actor.. But again I don't think these actors want to overdue to where it comes off corny and at the same time they don't want to let these fans down at the same time and as my comments have stated it's impossible to do pretty much. Can't go wrong with emelia Clarke.. I think her character could have been developed more but she is so easy on the eyes and has such a bright aura I'll let it slide. Great directing by Howard. Solo and rogue one are better than the main films so far.. Though I have enjoyed them all the branch off films have been better and can't wait for more.
