I see the word grit being thrown around alot of these reviews...it's a good word.. but it's the wrong word... grit was Chrisopher Nolan's batman films.... This... this film isn't gritty... it doesn't leave you covered in dust It covers you in sludge... This movie has Grunge... It puts you in a dark functional world that is off tint... the glow of a lamp that gives no hope in the darkness.... The lamp just makes it all the darker... You will leave the theatre needing a shower. This movie encompasses corruption... "but so does every other batman movie".... not like this... the corruption in other batman movies is foreign to the world, comical, a joke.. ... This corruption is real You feel it in your bones.... You watch this movie and you don'tsee... you remember.. this is how the world really works... You'll look at yourself and see that you are naked.... and feel ashamed Bravo..... can't wait for the sequel
