I heard the reviews, and I thought they might be overhyping it, but it really was an excellent movie. There are a few scenes throughout the movie where everyone in the theater laughed audibly, and a few where there wasn't a single dry eye. After Venom, its nice to see that Sony can make a good movie in the Spiderman universe. Worth watching in theater and picking up on dvd.

Possibly the best animated movie ever made. Often described as a Japanese "Alice in Wonderland".

This is a great movie. People are just upset that there aren't explosions, gun fights, and car chases to keep them entertained like the hundreds of other cheap action movies that come out monthly. If you want a movie with soul and characters, this is for you. If you think the Need 4 Speed franchise is a cinematic masterpiece or can't go 2 hours without a fistfight in space between giant mechs, maybe avoid this.
