I hadn’t watched any of the True Detective seasons but went straight to Season 4 because of the rave reviews about Jodie Foster. Ho hum, JF aside, the story and setting are really depressing and the crimes gruesome. Watched the first episode then jumped straight to the final one to see what on earth happened. So glad I didn’t watch the ones in between.
