Such a weird movie, no clue what the fuss and discussion is all about. True that Ranbir aced his character but why such a violent character in the first place??
In our current societal scenario when as is violence of every form is at its peak, why create more reasons for gullible young minds to emulate? Even if in the end they showed him getting punished by law, it would have made some sense but in this movie over a few 100 were murdered and no sign of police whatsoever!!
My point is very simple...no matter the situation or character the director is depicting..in the end law is there to reprimand right? With this movie what is the message? That a man loses his mental stability just to seek validation from his father..hence kills 100s and yet is free as a bird with not even a single mention of police?! How does that sound realistic?
The movie ends at a sequel note leaving a question mark if psychological disorders like these let people get away? Being an animal in that sense doesn't validates shoddy behaviour with women, infidelity and all the traits they showed Ranbir to posses. Lick my shoe?? Is that even something that we should be showing families?
Rashmika also sets her boundary only on last 5 mins of the end, making suffering and tagging along of wives seem so normal and accepted, however wrong their husbands are.
Don't agree that this is the best movie or anything similar. It's gruesome to say the least and makes zero sense with cousins singing a song while Ranbir goes on merry shooting spree killing 100's....need more be said?!!
