I found the game really fun and very addicting. I played the original Paper Mario and Thousand Year Door games when I was kid, and while I love those games and was a bit hesitant top pick this one up because of what players nostalgic for the older games might feel about this addition, I personally found that Origami King still feels just like a Paper Mario game even though it is so different, and I would say it's just as good as the older games if you factor nostalgia out. It's clever, the world building and level design are top-notch, it's beautiful and well-written, and I found the battle system creative and satisfying to use after I learned it. Likewise, I love that they added so many collectibles which are like little secret goodies hidden around, which made getting 100% in this game a joy. I highly recommend it!
