Even though I knew the line up for this was serious actors, I still went in expecting this film to be satirical. I do love satire, but pleasantly surprised and impressed that this film is serious and poignant. There is some tasteful humour sprinkled in as well, but well balanced. The acting was awesome, somehow Stan's portrayal of Trump was not a caricature at all; it was delicately played. The period scenery, costumes, props etc were also really impressive - very good production.

BBC description of this is includes the word "daft" - which is spot on and is definitely how it should be taken to appreciate how funny it is. Great characters, all with hilarious flaws, it is really well acted by everyone, especially considering how bonkers it is; fantastic cast. It pokes a lot of fun at the flaws of women and men in equal measure. The cameo in it was also hilarious and couldn't have picked a better person for the cameo - took the joke out of themselves very well!
