As a fan I loved it! It honored the originals and told a story that filled in the gaps as to what happened to all of them. It’s funny, nostalgic, and EMOTIONAL! I thought it was worth the wait. There seem to be so many angry reviews out there in regards to the “fan service”, but wouldn’t you want the fans to be happy….? It all helps to lay the groundwork and tell the story of this installment. I recommend it. Even for the kid in you!
