This is another great book by Manreet. It recounts how the tumultuous history of punjab is intertwined with the destiny of its people whether they live there or on the other end of earth.How gentle life is moulded and torn apart by history, politics and nonsensical hatred until atlast life begins to make sense again of the course of history through many generations. Simply superb.
