A fun adventure, I really enjoyed watching this. It captures the fun-not-to-be-taken-to-seriously-feel-good charm of the movie perfectly. I also recommend watching the movie first as there are many nods and references to it. The story was a solid fantasy adventure with lovable and charming characters and interesting lore (although there could've been more of that). Absolutely dig the visuals and soundtrack as well. Would love to get another season.

Starts out a bit rough and gets a lot better as it moves forward. Despite really liking the visuals thus far, I do think, that they could be a bit more dark and gritty at times. It just feels a little bit too clean at moments. Most of the time though they are truly stunning. Absolutely love the soundtrack and the costumes. The only gripe I have with the show is that the pacing is a little bit all over the place. I feel the season would have greatly benefited from getting one or two more episodes. Overall this first season of the series really got me interested in the world of WoT. I am looking forward to the second season.
