Malayalam movies are way ahead of any other film industry in India for sure. I watched this one on prime with English subtitles. Sadly subtitles were missing at some crucial points. Which was disappointing. Horever the movie is fantastic. It is about the never ending communal hatred and how situations can change response of even otherwise neutral person and compel to flip on the otherside. Bottom line is that jab tak suraj chand rahega communal hatred bhi rahega. Movie is a bit dragged towards the end. At some points the action of the lead character is questionable. Go watch it for a thought provoking movie experience. Prime video please update the subtitles.

Yet another mind blowing movie. I am falling in love with Malayalam movies. Fantastic narration, beautiful forest cinematography, brilliant storyline and performances. It depicts the कैफियत of a mentally ill person perfectly. Must watch. Story of a missing child, missing pistol of an ex- military serviceman, and his son and newly wed wife trying to resolve the mystery. No one can guess what happens next.

Recently I have grown a liking for Malyalam movies. Most of the times the movies have made me think, wanting for more, very unpredictable plot and raw realistic visuals. Such movies were only seen as art films in Bollywood several years ago. About Iratta which means twin: Twins enacted perfectly by Joju George. The movie is a murder mystery of a police inside the police station. The way it unfolds, right from the first scene you are pulled in. The climax stuns you. It has subtle take on alcoholism, childhood brutality, childhood trauma, and it's long lasting impact. I was getting confused in between the twin characters as they are complete look alikes. Bear in mind, nothing that you see in the movie is meaningless though. It all comes together so well at the end that it blows your mind. Technically its perfect, background score, editing, etc. I am a Maharahtrian. Unfortunately the movie is not dubbed in Hindi. Had to watch with subtitles on Netflix. But it's worth it.

Doesn't meet expectations from RKH and SRK. Second half is OK.. but the first half is flat. Bomam is wasted. Vicky is best. I think Punjabi's may be able to relate with it.
