I found it film somewhere between interesting, a boring and self indulgent. Jolie looks nothing like Callas, isn't a singer, rendering her as ineffective in the role.

I thought Wicked was superbly conceived and performed. Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo were fabulous. The screenplay, sets, costumes, orchestrations and animation worked extremely well throughout. I loved the choreography. Overall, a most enjoyable experience.

While the cinematography is gorgeous, the series utterly lacks humor and charm. Andrew Scott is rather flat in the role of psychopath, and Italy comes across as always dark and ominous. I believe the contrast between vitality and underlying evil would have been more effective. The pace is also slow - it takes too long for the inspectors to figure out basic facts about the perpetrator and victim, and botch the investigation. Overall, a disappointment.
