Just watched it with the family.
This is not a movie about a future / hypothetical US civil war.
This is a movie glorifying "journalists" with a future / hypothetical US civil war playing softly in the background. The goal of this movie, in my opinion, is to convince the viewer that journalists are integral to disseminating truth, no matter the personal cost to them.
When in reality, journalists today are nothing more than marketers. The irony is that if this country ever does try and split into factions, it will be in part because "journalists" today do not care to seek or uncover truth, and instead push an agenda and a narrative.
As we were walking out I heard a couple of people say "it wasn't what I was expecting." Correct, and that was by design.
Don't waste your money or time on this nonsense.
