The reason I was attracted to this movie was because of the description. I wanted to figure out who would be the bad guy; the man living in the middle of nowhere (why would there be a woman knocking on his door), or the woman knocking on his door (that man is crazy enough to live in the middle of nowhere)! To sum it up, the movie was very slow paced and confusing, especially at the beginning. But 30 minutes in, suspense built up. Then it got real like 50 minutes in. Also, the initial question I had about who was good or bad never left my mind throughout the movie until the very end. The woman lied and contradicted herself lots. The man was overly comfortable that a stranger was in his house and gave her tons of hospitality. Overall, 6.5/10. That is my review if you haven’t watched the movie already. Now if you did, or aren’t planning to after reading that, here is my alternate review with SPOILERS:
When I tell you I was so lost when they were getting to know each other… And frustrated when she didn’t leave the cabin, yet so badly wanted to… And then the way my heart dropped when I saw that (her) dead body. I thought it was a great plot twist that the woman was coming back every time. That’s where I started growing some more faith in the movie. But then, he really had to wake up from a dream. And then just died. ðŸ«
Oh well, it wasn’t as bad as everyone said it was, you just really needed the attention span for it, but even then, the ending was disappointing. Nice little plot twist and storyline though
