Anyone who enjoyed Mark Duplass’s Paddleton should enjoy Blue Jay with a similar pace, everyday dialogue and the magic in easy relationships. Filmed in black and white in a rural town setting. Not everything works but plenty does if you go with flow the way the couple do.
