The first Pokemon game I ever played was Pokemon Yellow on my 3DS. I absolutely adored the game. I later ordered 7 Pokemon games, two of them being Pokemon Red and Blue. I played both games and they are very good games. They have very good gameplay the plot is understandable, and the game has a fantastic soundtrack.

This is the first Pokemon game I've ever played and for a late Game Boy title, it's actually pretty good. The combat is interesting, it's fun to level up your Pokemon, the Pokemon: Indigo League (1997 anime) influences are appreciated because that is my favorite of the Pokemon anime over the years, and the music is pretty good too. There are a few problems with the games I have, like the psychic types feel unbeatable with out lots of luck, but overall this is a very good re-skin of Pokemon Red and Blue.

The art style is very interesting and it can be a bit unforgiving, but Parappa the Rapper is still a PlayStation classic
