Incredible documentary. I’ve steered clear of almost all 9/11 documentaries, not wanting to see the devastating images again or feel the monumental losses. But the personal stories are honest and deeply inspiring. Many gave their lives to help others, and some were seemingly saved by the decision to stop fleeing for their own safety in order to help someone else. The series makes you feel as if you were there, sharing many points of view and the logistics of survival in horrific, overwhelming circumstances. Thankfully it was apolitical, which allows you to understand the victims experiences of those who were there without hidden agendas, judgment or opinion.
