I’ve played Fallout 3 & 4 a ridiculous amount of hours/days/months. When I get to a vault and crack the Overseers code, or roll up to a RR gas stop, or a rickshaw style farm on the surface… I see it ALL in the show. The level of care taken to bring the game to life is immaculate. Down to the smallest detail. That transports you to this world, which is what most of us want when escaping in to movies, shows, and video games. They did this RIGHT. The themes and storylines are woven well, using the SOURCE MATERIAL. I capped that because too many shows try and fail to adapt by taking what the fans, who are not stupid, love and then doing whatever they want with zero respect for what built the fan base in the first place. I love the Last of Us for the same reasons as Fallout… you took something amazing in one type of medium and you translated it to amazing in another. It’s respectful, yet fresh, nostalgic, yet new, and downright f**king awesome.
