My wife and I saw the movie yesterday and we both enjoyed it very much. The central theme was really the evolution of Reagan's character development throughout his life, how that informed his values and how his confidence in his beliefs allowed him to make tough decisions as the stakes got higher when he became President. The acting (Dennis Quaid and Penelope Ann Miller in the lead roles) was quite good, the makeup (showing the addition of lines to their faces as they aged) was excellent, the screenplay moved around in lively fashion to keep your attention, and Jon Voight played an interesting role as a retired Soviet analyst who forecast Regan's rise. I recommend it, especially to younger people who know little about one of our country's most consequential presidents.
