The gameplay and mechanics are really good, although very obviously derivative of Little Big Planet and games like Ratchet and Clank, but without any of the fun or innovative genius of those games. The environments are pretty, if illogically laid out and the models of the two dolls are neat. The kid is really weird and offputting to look at. Voice acting is top notch. The story is horrible. It sends the message that you can force two people who are clearly miserable and totally incompatible to stay together for their kids. All of the dialogue is negative and deathly boring. It's just more of those stereotypical couples in American media who spend all their time sniping and undermining each other and isn't the least bit original or entertaining. No character in the game is in any way likeable including the kid. I don't care what happens to any of them and have nothing invested in their success. I didn't find this game fun to play at all. In summary: go and play Little Big Planet instead.
