Well done acting, production value and acting. Maybe a bit on the sappy side which I did not hate.

Just finished season 5. This show has everything you want/need in forensics, crime, drama. Bad guys, yes. Corrupt cops, yes. But it’s the good guys we tune in for. I tell people it’s what American shows wish they were. The diversity in all ways can’t be matched on US tv. Brilliantly written dialogue. Sparse when called for. Rapid fire where needed. Storylines are just plain smart. Consistent. Yes of course it’s fiction. Not real. But that’s the actual beauty. You can escape in a world that feels authentic. Just hate to wait for season 6.

How many actors can hold their own and then some against DeNiro? Grodin is perfectly cast and plays the character with equal parts heart and humor. A classic buddy movie that never gets old.
