(This is a pretty long review, lol.) The best movie I’ve ever seen my entire life. Everything in this movie is just perfect. The directing, setting, screenplay, editing, costumes, cast, story, soundtrack and I mean EVERYTHING! No movie can ever compare to this masterpiece. The movie really has so many deep messages. Jack represents the people who died that fateful night, and Rose represents the survivors. I really felt the grief the real people on the Titanic felt, losing their loved ones and that’s because of the love story. It’s sad, funny, romantic at the same time. Many people have a problem with Jack dying but I’m okay with it. Yeah, he did not deserve to die, but he had to. Imagine, 1500 people lost their lives, so would it be okay for Jack & Rose to live a happy life after that? No. Titanic itself doesn’t have a happy ending. About the door “debate”, well the movie literally showed Jack getting over but the door flips. It’s a matter of buoyancy too. This shouldn’t even be a debate in my opinion. Some people say they could’ve took turns. If you’re good in science, you’ll know why they couldn't take turns as well. They both would’ve died from the freezing water AND freezing air! Another one, people say they would’ve survived if Rose tied her life jacket under the door/piece of wood. Well may I remind y’all that they’re in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean with freezing water at 2am with no rest/sleep surrounded by people screaming for their lives? Imagine yourselves in this situation. I don’t think Jack could’ve lived, and Rose did NOT kill Jack! And omg.. Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet’s chemistry is just another level..! It felt like they weren’t even acting, that’s how natural and real it was/felt like it. Well maybe that’s because they are best friends in real life. I love them both so much! Anyways, this is the BEST MOVIE EVER! No matter how many movies I watch, Titanic will always have a special place in my heart and forever be my #1 favourite. It’s a must-watch.
