Plenty of analytical symbolism going on Re this film and its relatively true to Master Tolkien’s interpretation.
As Tolkien said “All that glitters is not Gold” and the same goes with this film , visually good, well acted but confusing to all but but students of the legend. To say the final sequences are baffling is an understatement….
