Choppy. It felt like blocks of time were missing and events were omitted or dismissively portrayed. Whitewashed. There are so many excellent actors of Middle Eastern / Mediterranean backgrounds, why not use them? Christian Bale is very onconvincing as Moses with an audibly noticible British accent. Sigourney Weaver looking very uncomfortable and not Egyptian at all. Portraying God as a petulant child was a gutsy move - it almost worked. Definitely Old Testament vibe, but fell short. There's more...but I won't get super biblical on you. In all...this could have been a cool movie. ...but it wasn't.
