I've beaten the entire game, done the post game, and i'm exploring the end game high end tera raids while completing the Pokedex.
While I can't ignore the various technical issues, such a LOD causing reduced framerate on not-distant objects that inexplicably go to a normal framerate when they're really close. Various things like diving into a tree on the mount pokemon and getting caught in a death dive, or the fact people and pokemon can randomly walk through a battle, and a sheer lack of store fronts and interior environments for most of the stores and buildings...I can't deny that i'm also having a lot of fun. In fact, some of the glitches can make for funny moments though I also understand this does ruin immersion for many. The main thing I have an issue with is the inconsistent wireless communication for Tera Raids that randomly drops.
If you take the game for what it is, a story that was ambitious and a door to a new generation, it's still very enjoyable and fun. The characters range from relatable to cringe, and each bring their own flavor to the game that makes it fun and dynamic. I can't understate how enjoyable the game is, despite its shortcomings.
