It’s certainly a slow burn.. but I felt the same about Dark, which is hands down the best serious I’ve ever watched on any streaming platform. Dark was a series people either loved or hated, 1899 will probably be exactly the same-Personally, I looking forward to following this series and my only concern is Netflix canceling yet another superb series like they have done with Archive 81 (still upset about that one). Bravo to the directors and actors of 1899 !!
